Project Management in a Pandemic - LIVE Online Workshop with Q&A
Time & Location
About The Event
COVID-19 has caused chaos in all businesses, and March 2020 was a period of great uncertainty.
With a new clarity that Australia will not recover with a 2 week work from home or any other short term solution, a regrettable realisation of the need to continue is quickly emerging.
Companies, and Project Managers, are quickly realising that mission critical projects must continue, as must projects that are imperative to the long term strategy of an organisation.
Short term changes will need to be taken to ensure long term success.
This 60 minute online, LIVE Workshop will introduce attendees to highly experienced Project Managers who have held responsibilities to manage emergency-deployed, mission critical, and strategic-plan related projects through economic downturns such as the dotcom bust, the terrorist attacks in USA on 9/11 that affected the world economy, and the 2008/9 Global Financial Crisis.
Project Managers are selected for their experience, and for their ability to share their knowledge in a dynamic online course.
- Being proactive vs reactive: reprioritisation, dependencies, resourcing
- Big picture thinking: assessing the wider impact, funding, revalidation, risk assessment
- Soft skills: what you and your team need to come through a crisis
- Using technology to your advantage
